Aside from the skillful dental work he provides every patient, Dr. Patel extends refreshing compassion and understanding to everyone who walks through our door. After years practicing at larger, corporate dental offices, Dr. Patel realized that owning his own practice would allow him to provide the high quality, highly personalized care that he believes every patient deserves.
Dr. Patel earned his DDS and completed his 2 year AEGD residency at the UT Health School of Dentistry (formerly known as the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio), where he was chief resident. He then went on to teach at the dental school while working as an associate in a private practice. Dr. Patel has recently been recognized by his alma mater for his Excellence in Predoctoral Teaching from 2018-2019.
Dr. Patel’s favorite part of dentistry is the relationships he cultivates with patients as he helps them achieve and maintain their dental health goals. He realizes that dental appointments can feel intimidating and vulnerable, and his friendly, welcoming demeanor along with his communicative approach will make you feel completely at ease.
When he's not in the office, you can find Dr. Patel cooking up new recipes (he's currently working on perfecting his macaroon technique), spending time with his wife, and doting over his 2 year old golden retriever.
Every member of our team at Cibolo Family Smiles is dedicated to your health and comfort. You’ll be greeted with a warm welcome, and all of your diagnosis and treatment details will be explained in a way that you’ll understand and appreciate.
